Stellantis's Software Organization (SWX) was created to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage CAD model 3D and 2D drawings for SWX components and support internal and external stakeholders in managing CAD models and installation studies
- Responsible for the requirements from mechanical aspects
- Lead the component mechanical design and thermal integration, design mounting and cooling strategies
- Optimize mechanical designs for size, weight, durability, performance and cost
- Work close with internal and external stakeholders, including, Supplier, Vehicle packaging, thermal, NVH, etc.
- Responsible for component level verification and validation
- Generates and maintains e-BOM, Part Manufacturing and analytical data within the Product Life Management (PLM) system
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- Experience Fundamental 3D modeling and 2D drawing skills
- Experience in manufacturing process of steel, aluminum, or plastic components
- Work level knowledge of ECU module thermal simulation analysis
- Familiar with automotive environmental testing standards
- Hands-on practical experience with shop tools and prototyping
- High sense of independence and self-responsibility
- DFSS certification
- English advanced
Requisitos
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using CAD and PDM/PLM tools – CATIA, NX and Teamcenter, etc.
- Experience with electronic components and packaging with OEM and/or tier 1/2 supplier
- Demonstrated experience source packages, specifications, DFMEA and DVP&R through the complete product cycle (from sourcing approval to serial production)
- Experience in Agile development
- Extraordinary communication skills and are passionate about delivering world-class services
